Allison, a trailblazer in healthcare technology, serves as the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pediatric Emergency Standards Inc. (PES), now widely recognized as Handtevy. With a steadfast commitment to revolutionize pediatric emergency care, Allison has transformed Handtevy into an industry leader, harnessing the potential of innovative technology to treat the emergent pediatric and adult patient.
Prior to making her mark in the health tech industry, Allison held key roles in media and politics, including significant experience within the White House. Here, she navigated complex national and international diplomatic landscapes, requiring extensive travel and the facilitation of effective communication between high-level officials and hosts, both domestically and internationally. This versatile leadership experience continues to inform her work at Handtevy.
Allison holds a Juris Doctorate from the prestigious Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. As she continues to spearhead Handtevy’s growth, Allison remains committed to leveraging her broad experience and academic acumen to lead the next wave of innovation in emergency healthcare, with a vision firmly set on shaping the future of patient care.
Dr. Peter Antevy, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Handtevy, stands as a visionary force in healthcare. His innovative development of the Handtevy System has propelled the company to the forefront of emergency medical care.
Dr. Antevy’s profound educational journey commenced at the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he attained his medical degree in 1999. He further honed his expertise with pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and pursued a subspecialty degree in Pediatric Emergency Medicine from the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Marking a significant milestone in his career, Dr. Antevy was among the pioneering cohort to achieve board certification in Emergency Medical Services in 2017.
Currently, Dr. Antevy holds the pivotal role of EMS Medical Director for a host of fire-rescue departments, overseeing the crucial work of 2500 paramedics in Broward and Palm Beach County, Florida. In addition to this extensive responsibility, he also leads as the President of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of EMS Professionals (NAEMSP).
Dr. Antevy’s transformative contributions to pre-hospital emergency medicine have been widely recognized, earning him the esteemed Raymond H. Alexander EMS Medical Director of the Year Award in 2014 and placement among the 2015 Top Ten Innovators in EMS by JEMS. As he steers Handtevy’s future course, Dr. Antevy’s unyielding commitment to progress remains his guiding principle, positioning him at the vanguard of life-saving advancements in pre-hospital care.
Fran, with her comprehensive background in practice management, psychology, and business administration, brings substantial depth to her role at Handtevy. In the company’s early days, Fran was instrumental in setting the stage for growth and success with her far-reaching expertise and strategic insight.
Her career began in the early ’90s as a Director of Mental Health, which involved an intensive management training program. This catalyzed her progression into various leadership roles within the healthcare sector, including over a decade serving as a national practice management consultant. Prior to joining Handtevy, Fran demonstrated her management expertise by effectively overseeing operations of five large-scale healthcare facilities in Broward County.
Today, she applies her vast skills and experience towards Handtevy’s mission, a role that she feels brings her career full circle. Her significant professional achievements are supported by a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Psychology from Brooklyn College and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Nova University.
Orelvis brings over 21 years of diverse experience and an immense wealth of technical acumen to his role. Prior to joining Handtevy, Orelvis had the opportunity to work with a varied client base that included Kaplan University, Florida Atlantic University (FAU), SeaWorld Parks Entertainment, Fibernet Direct, Cross Country Home Service, and The Forbes Company, among others.
An innovative professional and hands-on leader, Orelvis is deeply passionate about application security and boasts a robust background in architecting and developing strategies designed to elevate enterprise systems. His leadership and technical contributions have been instrumental in driving the exponential growth of our SaaS platform. With a continuous drive for improvement, Orelvis constantly seeks to enhance the products and services Handtevy offers, underlining his commitment to our mission and our clients.
Underpinning his practical expertise, Orelvis holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and a postgraduate degree focusing on Web Services Security, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of software engineering, automation technologies, information security, and compliance.
Michael, boasting extensive leadership experience in both pediatric and geriatric care, offers invaluable insight and depth of understanding to his role at Handtevy. His fervent commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable populations aligns perfectly with Handtevy’s mission, making him an integral part of the team.
Before his tenure at Handtevy, Michael served in pivotal roles at The Florida Department of Health and The Agency for Healthcare Administration. He shaped legislative affairs and enforced stringent quality assurance standards statewide, further refining his proficiency in operational roles.
An alumnus of The Florida State University, Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences and a Graduate degree in Public Administration, specializing in Health Services and Policy. With the support of a remarkable team at Handtevy, he consistently employs his vast knowledge and leadership acumen to champion and disseminate information about Handtevy’s essential work.
Patrick, joining the Handtevy family as one of the earliest team members in 2015, brings with him a wealth of experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic from South Florida. A fervent advocate for advancing pre-hospital pediatric care, he demonstrates unwavering dedication in his pursuit of excellence within the field.
In his leadership role, Patrick steers a team of equally committed professionals, providing high-caliber education and resources to practitioners. His guidance focuses on disseminating the latest innovations and treatment methodologies in emergency medical care.
Prior to his involvement in emergency medicine, Patrick served for six years in the United States Marine Corps. As an Infantryman specializing in TOW and Javelin missiles, he demonstrated exceptional dedication and competency, ultimately achieving the rank of Sergeant. His military discipline and leadership qualities continue to be instrumental in his current role at Handtevy.
Tylene is a seasoned healthcare professional with an impressive career spanning over 18 years as a paramedic. Her experience in handling medical emergencies has seen her serve with distinction across diverse environments, including pre-hospital and ER settings.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Tylene made substantial contributions at Broward College, playing an integral role in molding future healthcare professionals. She organized and facilitated essential code simulation scenarios, enriching the curriculum for paramedic and nursing program students.
In 2017, Tylene joined the Handtevy team, applying her vast expertise and dedication to excellence. Her contributions have been instrumental in advancing the company’s mission—simplifying real-time documentation and improving patient outcomes.
